Description

Composition: Fluconazole 150 mg

Indications:

• Treatment and prevention of fungal infection after antibiotic therapy
• Candidiasis of the genital system: vaginal candidiasis (acute and recurrent), candidiasis balanitis.
• Candidiasis of the mucous membranes, including the oral cavity and pharynx, candidiasis of the esophagus, non-invasive bronchopulmonary candidiasis
• Cutaneous mycoses (paws, body, groin area), onychomycosis, colored ringworm
• Systemic candidiasis, candidemia, candiduria
• Treatment and prevention of fungal infection in immunocompromised patients

Method of use:

Depending on the nature and severity of the fungal infection, the treatment scheme and duration are determined individually.

• After treatment with antibiotics and for preventive purposes in immunodeficiency: 1 capsule (150 mg) 1 time per week.
• In vaginal candidiasis: 1 capsule (150 mg) once a day. Duration of treatment is 3 days.
• For the prevention of relapses of vaginal candidiasis: 1 capsule (150 mg) once a month. The duration of treatment is 4-12 months.
• In candidiasis infections of the mucous membrane of the oral cavity, pharynx, esophagus: 1 capsule (150 mg) once a day. The duration of treatment is 7-10 days.
• Mycoses of paws, body, groin and skin: 1 capsule (150 mg) once a week. The duration of treatment is 2-4 weeks.
• During the color cycle: 2 capsules (300 mg) once a week. The duration of treatment is 2-4 weeks.
• During onychomycosis: 1 capsule (150 mg) once a week. The treatment is continued until the damaged nails are completely healed.
• During balanitis: 1 capsule (150 mg) is prescribed in a single dose.
• Systemic candidiasis: 1-3 capsules (150-450 mg) once a week. Treatment is continued for 2 years.
• During cryptococcosis, cryptococcal meningitis: 3 capsules (450 mg) on the 1st day, and 1-3 capsules (150-450 mg) once a day on the following days. The duration of treatment depends on the clinical effect.
• During systemic candidiasis and cryptococcosis infection: 6-12 mg/kg is prescribed.
• Patients with renal failure do not need to adjust the dose when a single dose (50 mg) is prescribed. During the long-term treatment, the drug is prescribed in an average therapeutic dose for the first two days, and the following days the drug intake depends on creatinine clearance.
